Well, here's a starting point.

Free Google Resources for Educators
The aim of this working party was devised at the ICT Committee meeting on 14th June. It is:

To determine the Learning Technological Platform for Damascus College to move forward for the next 3 – 5 years

As discussed at our first meeting, this can be broken down into three stages:
1. Consultation
2. Visitation
3. Experimentation

At the end of these stages, we need to make a recommendation to the ICT Committee and the College Leadership.

Before we can begin Consultation effectively, we need to do some Education of staff, students and parents as to the possibilities of Technology in Learning. Otherwise they won't be in a position to make informed choices about what kind of learning possibilities they would like to see in practice. As co-authors of this blog, you can share links, sites, videos or anything that you might think is helpful in us creating a portfolio of Technology in Education options for us to use in educating others.

Welcome

Welcome, and thank you, to members of the TIE working party. Whilst some of you may think of an item of apparel when we use that acronym, I always think of Star Wars. The video below is one of I think is the most memorable film sounds of all time.

Not that that has anything to do with the work at hand, but I thought it probably best to let you know what kind of geek you're dealing with her.
